Development of the activity
We comment with the children what type of situations make them mad so that they express their ideas on this respect and tell experiences they have had when they have been mad or somebody has been mad at them. We ask them to tell which were their reactions and to give their opinion on what they think about their behavior: Is it well or would it have been better to react in another way?
Then we comment that to anger is natural, that everybody feels it, but it is necessary to avoid harming others. We also tell them that many times we are mad and we don't know why, and that this is also natural.
The educator tells them that for those angry moments, in the class there is going to be a special place "to take out the rage" and he shows them the basket full with materials that are there specially to do what they want with them: to hit the cushions or the puppets, to tear up the papers, to scribble with all their force, to kick the rubber foam ball, to blow some balloons and explode them, to knead the plasticine, etc. The children can suggest more activities and they can incorporate them, always discussing first the principle they have to respect: not to harm the others
