Accidents: Noooo!

  • Observation
  • Risk control
  • Caution with dangerous objects

Talk to the children about the accidents they have suffered in the classroom or the playground, and about the ones that have happened in their houses as well. You can also talk about the different illness they have had.

  • Which things can we do to care of ourselves?
  • Which things can we do to avoid the danger?
  • How do their parents care for them when something happens?
  • What do you do at the doctor's?
  • How do you know there is a danger?
  • How do you feel when you are ill?
  • What are we supposed to do when an accident takes place?
  • What happens if we eat a lot?
  • When do you go to the doctor?
  • What kind of doctors do you know?

Each child will draw or cut from magazines different dangerous objects he/she knows and will glue them on a mural. From now on they have to be aware of how dangerous those objects can be.
